Privacy Policy

This policy applies to musify (the Android app, the web app at musify.im and the associated services), developed by Gowesoft. Contact: gowesoft@hotmail.com.

What data we collect

• Account data: your email address, a user identifier and the display name you choose. They are used exclusively to authenticate you and show your profile.
• Content you upload: audio files, cover art, lyrics, playlists and comments. It is your library: it is stored so it can be played on your devices and, if you choose, shared with other musify users.
• Playback activity: listening history and play counts, used for your personal stats and the mixes generated in your account.
• Devices: the name and type of the devices where you use musify, for playback continuity between them (musify Connect).

musify does not use advertising or analytics SDKs, does not access your contacts, location, camera or microphone, and does not collect data for advertising purposes.

Where it is stored

Account and library data is stored in Supabase (database and authentication) and audio files in Cloudflare R2. Both act as infrastructure providers under our instructions; they do not sell or use your data for their own purposes. All traffic travels encrypted over HTTPS and audio is served through short-lived signed URLs.

Who it is shared with

No one. We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties. The only thing visible to other users is what you decide to share inside the app (shared playlists, comments, Jam sessions).

Retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account and all the associated data (audio, playlists, comments, history and email) at any time:

• From the app: Settings → Account → Delete account.
• From the web, without the app: Delete account.

Deletion is immediate in the active systems; backup copies are purged within a maximum of 30 days. We do not retain data except under legal obligation.

Your rights

You can request access, correction or deletion of your data by writing to gowesoft@hotmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

Children

musify is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version at this same URL with the update date.
